All four cottages have been stylishly designed with impeccable attention to detail by Jeanne Whittome and Janie Thompson, No.33’s very own renowned interior designers and project managers of North Norfolk. Having created a homely, chic feel to the cottages, you’re bound to feel content, as you relax in your tastefully furnished cottage, for the duration of your stay.
Located across the road from award winning Thornham Deli, all four cottages provide a mix of bed and breakfast (if desired) and self-catering accommodation.
For children, there is an extensive play area next to the Deli across the road - and there is even an adult play area too!
Thornham is fast becoming the culinary centre of the North Norfolk Coast with 7 dining experiences - many award winning - all within easy walking/staggering distance of our cottages.
There is also retail therapy at either Thornham Deli or down the road at Drove Orchard.
The jewel in Thornham’s Crown is the stunning walk across the marshes to the dunes and beach at Thornham. The coal barn and harbour are picture postcard perfect and the changing tidal landscape is a must see. Dogs are welcome - we provide a dog bed, dog blanket, bowl, treats and poo bags. There is a £45/dog/stay charge for cottages.
All our cottage gardens are fully enclosed keeping our four legged guests safe.

Cottage 1
This cosy one-up-one-down cottage with log burner is the ideal cottage for those looking for a quiet getaway. With upstairs consisting of master room with 6ft pocket sprung mattress bed (which can be turned into a twin on request) and separate ensuite with free standing bath, walk in shower, toilet and basin.
Downstairs is an open planned kitchen, island style dining bench with bar stools for two leading through to cosy living area with two seater sofa bed; extra linen and towels are available on request for an additional charge of £30 per stay. Double patio doors leading out to a small courtyard garden with outdoor seating for two and bbq under pergola.

Cottage 2
Thornham Cottage 2 is a one-up-one-down cottage. With upstairs bedroom featuring luxurious 6ft pocket sprung mattress bed, dressing table, wardrobe hanging space and flat screen smart TV in the room. Upstairs ensuite with walk in shower for two and large free standing dual bath, toilet and basin. With large chandelier pendant light, large mural wallpaper and matching soft furnishings this cottage is pure sanctuary; the ideal romantic get away.
Downstairs is an open planned kitchen with coffee bar dinning seats leading onto a snug living quarters with 2 seater sofa, armchair, coffee table and that all important log burner. Double patio doors leading out onto the rear courtyard garden with outdoor seating area, bbq and astroturf lawn; perfect for our four legged guests.
Cottage 3
A quirky two-up-two-down cottage bursting with character featuring existing open fire places, retired cooking stove & original steep staircase giving this cottage the edge.
This cottage is entered via the rear of the property through the courtyard garden with seating for four people as well as a bbq to use in the warmer months. On entry you will be welcome into a cosy sitting area with two seater sofa and two armchairs for the whole family to snuggle up in front of the fire and watch a film on the flat screen smart TV. Following on from that is the fully equipped kitchen fitted with an induction hob, cooker and dinning table for four.
The upstairs master room has a cast iron king size bed with pocket sprung mattress, dressing table and clothes rail for hanging. The second bedroom is a small single bunk bed room with dressing table and rail for hanging clothes. The two upstairs bedrooms are partitioned with a small shower room, toilet and basin.
Cottage 4
Our largest cottage sleeping 6 people with 1 super king sized bed (option to twin if needed on request) and two other double rooms all with dressing tables and clothes rails to hang clothes. Upstairs bathroom equipped with step in bath with shower head, toilet and basin. There is an additional shower room downstairs with walk in shower, toilet and basin.
Downstairs kitchen with gas AGA cooker and hobs, tall double door fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate dining/living space downstairs with dinning table seating 6 people as well as living area made up of a large 4 seater sofa and 3 arm chairs situated round a log burner with large coffee table perfect for enjoying a board game with the family. The sitting room leads our to a small courtyard with bbq and seating under the pergola as well as additional outdoor dining table seating 10 people; perfect for those warmer evenings.
